About LocalSpots
LocalSpots is run independently, without a registered company. These terms cover the app and localspots.io. By using either, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to use LocalSpots. The service is still being built and may change or stop. If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
Your account
You may browse the guest selection without signing in. Apple, Google or verified email signup creates an account for favourites, itineraries and the full place collection. Keep your provider access, password and phone secure. You can reset a forgotten email-account password in the App. This signs out every other phone. You can sign out on one phone or delete your account from Profile → Account. We may suspend access for misuse of the service. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Notice.
Using LocalSpots
Use the app and website for personal travel planning. Creating or updating an itinerary counts as one use of your daily allowance. Creating a trip counts as one use per day in the trip. Profile shows the allowance for your account. The public assistant connector may be used through its documented MCP tools, within its limits. Do not share your device access token, automate other requests against the API, scrape or bulk-download the curated place collection, or interfere with the service or other people's access.
Extra uses
On iPhone you can buy extra uses in the app. They are spent only after the day’s free uses, never expire, belong to your account and work on every phone signed into it. Apple takes the payment, and refunds are requested from Apple under its terms. If Apple refunds a purchase, its unused uses are removed. Deleting your account removes any unused extra uses.
Suggestions
If you submit a Google Maps link or list, make sure you are allowed to share it. We may review, edit, add or decline the places you suggest. Suggesting a place does not give you control over the curated collection.
Itineraries and places
The assistant connector is provided as is. A draft itinerary is a suggestion until you save it in the App, using your own pins and date. Draft limits are separate from your account’s daily allowance; saving the draft spends one use.
Itineraries are planning suggestions. Hours, prices, public transport and access can change without reaching us first. Check important details with the place or public transport provider, follow local rules and use your own judgment while travelling.
Availability and liability
LocalSpots is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service or accurate itinerary and place information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from relying on a suggested itinerary or from a service interruption. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as LocalSpots changes. The effective date above shows the current version. If you continue using LocalSpots after an update, the updated terms apply. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete your account in the app.
